penguin dinner : games review

In lots of ways it is similar to Diner Dash or the other games, however, you don’t receive a lot of variety in the orders - unlike CakeMania, where you must prepare different foods, or Diner Dash, where you can serve coffe, Penguin Diner has few steps - stool the customer, then take the order, then serve the food, then tidy the table.

Yahoo offers a lot of similar games for sale - CakeMania, Diner Dash, Sally’s Salon - all of which are based on being an employee in a shop or restaurant of some kind. Penguin Diner is a simpler version of these, in which you play Penny, a penguin who has to work their way home.

You also can’t get as lots of upgrades, & the upgrades aren’t interesting, . But for a free version of the game, it is satisfying - the graphics are nice, everything is penguin themed, & the customers do have outfits. A cute feature is that the customers’ expressions change as they get impatient - you can’t see tiny hearts as you can in otehr games, but it still works.

It’s a short, fun game, although five times you’ve completed it, you’re kind of completed, as nothing changes throughout the game.
